What do Girl Power and Clear Vision Have in Common?

Two words for you…. Girl Power! Anyone who says that a woman cannot lift, swim, bike, run a business, and be a mom all at the same time is flat out wrong! Women are stronger, wiser, and more courageous than society understands.

I am a single mother by choice with a little boy who shares his love generously. In order to run my business and be the mom I want to be, I need to maintain a certain level of physical fitness and mental clarity. I believe that my morning routine is what drives my growth.

My mornings start with a short, 40-45 minute resistance training routine. I follow this up with a quick read of a passage from the Bible. I love the King James Version Bible app as it eliminates the thinking involved in which passage to read. I literally open the app and read the Bible. I then pull out my locked journal and write a couple of words from the passage that I read and journal on what that passage means to me. Sometimes I just journal on gratitude. I time my journal session as I can journal for way too long if I do not watch the time. I end my morning routine with a ten minute meditation. I use YouTube and just punch in 10 minute morning mediation. I lay down on my fuzzy carpet and just zone out and breathe. That morning routine energizes me and gives me a sense of calm that carries me through the day. As the day throws me punches, I feel resilient and strong.

So, how does this relate to eye health? When you work out, pray, and meditate, you ultimately care for your body. Healthy Body = Healthy Eyes. As I say over and over again in my book, Beyond Carrots, everything that you do to your body or put in your body ultimately impacts your eye health.

If you would like to learn more about what you can do to protect your eye health and improve your vision using lifestyle and nutrition, please feel free to visit drbritneycaruso.com and check out the updates on the book, Beyond Carrots. Stay tuned for the supplemental material, Beyond Carrots Masterclass. This supreme addition to the course is estimated to be released by November 15, 2022.
