Doctor  Britney Caruso, a licensed optometrist, is the president and director of Caruso Eye Care and a former doctor at the Rand Eye Institute.  After she graduated from Boston College with her Bachelor of Arts and Science in biology/premed with cum laude honors in 2000, she returned to her hometown of Chicago where she attended the Illinois College of Optometry.

While at the Illinois College of Optometry, she balanced academic and community service by maintaining Dean's List recognition and volunteering for Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH).

Since earning her doctorate degree, Doctor Caruso spent three years providing the highest level of eye care to nursing home residents throughout Chicago and South Florida.  From 2005 to 2010 she was a doctor at the nationally renowned clinic, Rand Eye Institute.  In South Florida and throughout the nation, the Rand Eye Institute is known for their excellence in ophthalmology.  In 2007 she was honored by the Rand Eye Institute with their "Spirit Award" for her enthusiasm and positive attitude in working with all her patients.  She is also a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. 

Doctor Caruso takes great pride in the fact that many of her patients have described her as compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough.  As Doctor Caruso often says, "HAPPINESS IS HELPING YOU SEE."
